Comunication

Communication, being an essential part of the life of individuals and one of the major components of normal functioning of organizations, can involve the use of different media which serve to transmit a message from a sender to a receiver. Our Aviation Engine Repair Center is not an exception and our organization uses a variety of tools in the process of communication but, in the course of time, we have eventually arrived to the necessity to use all media effectively so that the message could fit the media it is transmitted by.
First of all, it should be said that, at the present moment, we use a variety of media which may be viewed as traditional and new ones. Among traditional media, or communication channels that are used in our Aviation Engine Repair Center may be named telephone and faxes. In fact, telephone is probably the most widely spread and used channel of communication within our organization. Basically, the communication process occurs by means of telephone between different units or departments of our company. For instance, the director can communicate with a head of the department using the telephone simply in order to find out the general information about the functioning of the department what it actually works at or what are the recent results of its work. Similarly, a head of the department can communicate with the manager in order to find out the details of some order the latter received from a customer, or vice versa, the manager can supply the head of the department with more detailed information about the order and demands of a customer. By the way, the telephone communication may be also external, when a manager communicates with a customer, for instance, that is also quite effective as it can help better coordinate the work of our company and wishes of customers.
It is worthy of mention that probably one of the most effective channel of communication within our organization is a face-to-face meeting. In fact, it should be said that face-to-face meetings occur quite often in our Aviation Engine Repair center though they are not too often. In my opinion, it is extremely important since extremely frequent face-to-face meetings threaten to decrease the effectiveness of communication, since we will simply get used to this form of work and, if the message is not delivered effectively during the face-to-face meeting, its effectiveness will be low, while occasional but not rare face-to-face meeting help us keep our interests and attention to this type of communication quite high. Naturally, this channel of communication is one of the most important since it provides an excellent opportunity for the direct and live communication between a sender and a receiver of the message. Practically, it means that the effectiveness of face-to-face communication is higher since the personal contact is stronger, not in the last turn, due to the use of both verbal and non-verbal communication. Such a combination naturally increases the effectiveness of communication in our organization.

First day of HighSchool
24 Apr 2011 Leave a Comment
Going back to school is already something of an intimidating prospect. Going back for your first day of high school, however? Not cool, not cool at all. There’s a great deal of unease in the act, and for many students – maybe even most – high school probably looks like a great beast that’s going to chew you up and spit you out as a little, insignificant nothing.
Relax. It’s really not that bad. Yes, high school is different, but it’s still just school. And, as with anything else, there are ways to ease the transition. Here are some tips to help those new high schoolers out there survive that first day.
First, make sure you’re prepped. Have your pens, pencils, binders, paper, whatever you need, all ready to go. Don’t just toss everything in your bag and leave home, either – get your stuff sorted so you’re ready to start taking notes the moment you hit the classroom. Most teachers won’t begin the semester with notes immediately, though some probably will, and you’ll want to be prepared.
That said, don’t go too overboard. You should not be overflowing with enthusiasm about all the cool stuff you’ve bought. Why? Because the higher year students will, unfortunately, look for targets in the newcomers. You don’t want to make yourself high profile on the first day, lest you draw the attention of undesirables. Bring what you need and don’t flaunt the fact too much. (Yes, this makes high school sound even worse, but it’s not that bad. You need to be quite over-the-top with your supplies and ambitions to draw attention.)
Travel in packs with your friends. The nice thing about high school is that all your chums will probably carry over, and if they do you need to stick together. You can support one another on that first day, help each other find classes and fend off those aforementioned undesirables in large numbers.
And if you’re transferring from somewhere else and have no friends? Try to make some. Be talkative in class. This is difficult for most people, but look for any opening you can get to create a dialogue with someone else. This tip is especially effective if you look around the class for any other loners, as you’re probably not flying solo as the new kid. Team up and you may establish a life-long friendship. Try to get a seat around the middle of each class, more to the side. Generally speaking the troublemakers will sit in the back, while the best students go for the front. Unless you’re one or the other, go with the unobtrusive middle sections to
One of the things that parents have to realize is that the high school that they knew and the high school of today only have one thing in common; puberty. Otherwise, the differences are vast and numerous. Even some of the subjects have changed as high school students are pushed toward taking college prep courses and technology courses that probably didn’t exist when you and I went to high school. Not only that, but there are peer pressures that are relatively new, along with all the old ones. In short, high school can mean an immense amount of pressure coupled with the changes that teenagers go through. So, you can either strap yourself in for a long and bumpy ride or you can do your best to prepare your family for the high school years. At the very least, you can use the tips for starting high school to make the entire family ready for the first.

Marilyn Monroe[1][2] (pronounced /mɒnˈroʊ/ or /mənˈroʊ/; June 1, 1926 – August 5, 1962[3]), born Norma Jeane Mortenson, but baptized Norma Jeane Baker, was an American actress, singer and model.[4] After spending much of her childhood in foster homes, Monroe began a career as a model, which led to a film contract in 1946. Her early film appearances were minor, but her performances in The Asphalt Jungle and All About Eve (both 1950) were well received. By 1953, Monroe had progressed to leading roles. Her “dumb blonde” persona was used to comedic effect in such films as Gentlemen Prefer Blondes (1953), How to Marry a Millionaire (1953) and The Seven Year Itch (1955). Limited by typecasting, Monroe studied at the Actors Studio to broaden her range, and her dramatic performance in Bus Stop (1956) was hailed by critics, and she received a Golden Globe nomination. Her production company, Marilyn Monroe Productions, released The Prince and the Showgirl (1957), for which she received a BAFTA Award nomination and won a David di Donatello award. She received a Golden Globe Award for her performance in Some Like It Hot (1959).
The final years of Monroe’s life were marked by illness, personal problems, and a reputation for being unreliable and difficult to work with. The circumstances of her death, from an overdose of barbiturates, have been the subject of conjecture. Though officially classified as a “probable suicide“, the possibility of an accidental overdose, as well as the possibility of homicide, have not been ruled out. In 1999, Monroe was ranked as the sixth greatest female star of all time by the American Film Institute. In the years and decades following her death, Monroe has often been cited as a pop and cultural icon as well as an eminent American sex symbol

A recent survey that we had already did for girls only, we found out that most of students in my class is follow fashion trend in the world. But, there still some people that never follow world’s fashion trend.Besides that, 7 of 10 people said that the best kind of fashion that suitable for students is natural, two people said vintage, and one said classic. We also find out that students in our class are read teen vogue as their source for fashion. Also 5 people said they read gogirl. We ask several students did they use make up or not to school and all of them said that they didn’t use make up. of course they didn’t use make up if only to go to school because it is waste of time and I think school won’t allowed it. This is the fifth question that we ask to the students, do you wear high heels or not. Most of them said, they wear high heels, but rarely. they only use high heels when there is their friends birthday party or when they have another agenda that possible to wear it. Nobody said no for this. The last question is, who is your fashion icon. We give choices for this one. The choices are Alexa Chung, Kate Moss, and Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. From 5 people, two chooses Alexa Chung, two chooses Kate Moss, and one choose Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. That’s our survey for this project.

Eye liner is a cosmetic used to define the eyes. It is applied around the contours of the eye to create a variety of aesthetic illusions. Although primarily aimed at females, it has broadened its appeal to the male market, known commonly by the portmanteau guyliner. Eyeliner was first used in ancient egypt and mesopotamia as a dark black line around the eyes. As early as 10,000 BC, Egyptians wore various cosmetics not only for aesthetics but to protect the skin from the desert sun. Research has also speculated that eyeliner was worn to protect the wearer from the evil eye. The characteristic of having heavily lined eyes has been frequently depicted in Egyptian art. They produced eyeliner with a variety of materials including lead, copper ore and antimony. In the 1920s, king tu’s tomb was discovered, introducing the use of eyeliner to the Western world. The 1920s were an era commonly associated with many changes in women’s fashion, and women felt more free to apply makeup more liberally. In the 1960s, liquid eyeliner was used to create thick black and white lines around the eyes in the makeup fashion associated with designers like mary ovant. Eyeliner, also called Kajal in India is easily available in the market. Drugstores, department stores, and designer brands all carry eyeliners.HIGH heels (disadvantages)
